Unsworth in Henen praise

David Unsworth has been full of praise for “On Loan” French youngster David Henen following his goal in the Everton Under 21’s defeat of Norwich City by three goals to nil.

Henen arrived at the club in the summer under strange circumstances.  He was training with the club and in discussions with moving from Anderlecht for well over a month before moving to Olympiakos on transfer deadline day and immediately moving to Everton on loan.

“David has been terrific,” explained Unsworth. “He was not really fit enough – in terms of the level we expect – when he first came to the Club and I can’t praise him enough with how hard he has worked in training.

“He’s a great lad – he’s a very, very popular boy amongst the group and I was delighted for him to get the goal because he’s worked his socks off.”
