Tim Howard a transfer target for Beckhams Miami
Evertons USA goalkeeper Tim Howard is a transfer target for Manchester United legend David Beckhams new MLS franchise Miami according to the Daily Mirror.
The 35 year old stopper has been in brilliant form since Roberto Martinez took over at the club and following record breaking exploits in the World Cup in Brazil in the summer is hot property in his homeland.
USA fans started a petition to have the Ronald Reagan International Airport in Washington DC renamed in Howard’s honour following his World Cup heroics and the glovesman also shared a conversation with United States of America president Barack Obama, who thanks Howard for his displays.
Beckham has identified Howard as the star name he needs as he looks to launch his franchise and the lure of a fantastic opportunity in his homeland may prove too big a temptation for him
