The Everton Fans Forum
TheEvertonForum.com was launched last year after another popular forum had security issues and was hacked, causing it to go offline for 6 months.
The Everton Forum aims to bring Everton fans from across the globe together to chat about all things Toffee (and much more).
If you want to get into the politics of Everton Football Club, we also have an area dedicated to things behind the scenes in our Boardroom area
We have our own dedicated Everton Supporters Club sections aswell as sections on the Everton Academy and a Singing Section designed to get Goodison Park rocking.
We also have sections about Football and Sport in general and another place to discuss anything and everything else.
For those Evertonians that like a flutter, we have a section dedicated to Betting, with a number of very good tipsters.
Every opinion is welcome and we are always try to improve the forum, so any feedback is great.
So please come and join www.theevertonforum.com and let’s talk toffee
I am still pissed off and the renewal pack arriving this morning has made it worse but read on if you wish.
Moyes is deluded if he this is not effecting the team he should have kept his gob shut, it is funny how he dealt with the same issue differently in the past. His sole focus should be Everton Football Club its future not David Moyes’s future.
Martinez made Moyes look a chump on Saturday he learnt from the 2 previous games this season. He nullified our creativity out wide, which as we all know is our main production line for goals, and nullified Felliani by putting one player in front and one behind. This meant our 2 central midfield players had the job of creating chances, so with Neville in the team that meant 1.
This was blatantly obvious after 20 minutes so why didn’t Mr £75,000 a week Moyes see this and change it.
Whilst i did not condone Felliani’s performance or antics maybe if Moyes had of done something sooner and removed Neville brought on Gibson, who as we all now can control the possession and keep the ball moving, also bringing on Victor for Osman and putting Felli in midfield. This would have meant Wigan would have pulled another player back to counter this and this maybe would have stopped Felli from getting frustrated with the team’s performance. He was still so out of order though and should be fine for his actions during the game.
Ok this would have meant playing 4-4-2 which I am not a lover of but at least it would have disrupted the way Wigan were playing, which was required as they were completely outplaying a team that was meant to be their betters.
I am sorry to mention it again but Mr Moyes is paid handsomely to manage our team and the hopes and dreams of every Everton supporter but his dithering over his contract and his failure to be flexible with his team selection, formation and tactics have meant a drop in the team’s level of performance since the start of January. I seem to remember Moyes saying that the Lescott situation effected team performance yet arrogantly states that him saying “I will see were the team is at at the end of the season before I will look to see if I will sign a new contract”.
From what I can see Moyes controls all aspects of Everton Football Club so that statement from him is ludicrous, players and fans crave stability and Moyes saying what said is exactly the opposite, It destabilizes and undermines the players and fans. The vast majority of current squad are his choices so how does he expect them to react when he states in not so many words that if Everton FC are not where he thinks we should be he will leave. No pressure on the players then.
Our performances from January have been nothing short of shite and the blame for this down to one person David Moyes. Teams have sussed us out and Moyes has not changed anything.
Mr Moyes either sign your contract of leave you are not bigger than our club, yes our club not yours, the way you are behaving comes across as to me and many others as “if Everton are good enough for me I will stay”
