    Barkley Everton departure looks inevitable

    Ross Barkleys Everton future looks to be in doubt after he was left at home as the squad travelled to Tanzania.

    The club say that Barkley sustained an injury which meant that he couldn’t travel, but Barkley has trained all week and speculation over his future continues.

    Barkley only has 12 months left on his current contract and there have been no positive talk about him signing an improved contract.

    Spurs are linked to the England international and it now looks likely that he will leave the club this summer as they also look to pursue the transfer of Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
