Redtops desperate for Everton to sell Stones to Chelsea

Redtops desperate for Everton to sell Stones to Chelsea

The redtops have gone into overdrive overnight trying to sell Everton defender John Stones to Chelsea, with The Scum even stating that the England defender “Wants” to leave.

Stones is very happy to Everton despite all the media interest and Everton have already informed Chelsea in a letter that the defender is not for sale.

Barnsley will be due 25% of any profit made on the defender who was bought for £3m, so IF he is ever sold he will break a British transfer record.

Stones will certainly be looking ahead to next summers European Championships with a view to cementing his place in the England team and he has a better chance of playing first team football this season at Everton.  Keeping him at least until next summer would make sense for Everton as he is on a 5 year contract and his price will only go up.

Will John Stones be sold this summer?

    1. With the year we had with such a few goals scored against us you would think we dont have a defence problem and Stones wasn’t needed BUT we got problems. We have 3 lads on 1 year renewables, 1 who goes wandering upfield,1 who gets nervous and captain dependable who cant go on forever. Right now we have a remarkable lad Zouma who MIGHT be as good as Stones and I’d put him in over Cahill last year let alone now. But IF we were to get Stones Id put him in now and put Zouma in for JT gradually over the year. A central defence with Stones/Zouma would be great.
Stones would IMHO go straight into the 1st team so he wouldnt need to worry about playing time specially not after paying ridiculous HG inflated prices for him, but I understand that if youre going to sell him youre going to bleed us dry to get him and you need to get your own back for Lukaku eh 😉

      • Ha, we have to mate. We have a pauper for an owner. If/When Chelsea get Stones they will have a fantastic player on their hands. He isn’t fully there yet, but he is lightyears above many other players of his age. I’ll be gutted when he leaves. I hope we can hold off at least a year.

    2. If Stones is that good why Man.Utd not interested,Best for Everton would be sell to Utd for cash and Hernandez ,We need someone to get the best out of LUKA,The type of player Chico is I think wold be good for LUKA
