Packed gathering for Andy King funeral
Evertonians showed their respect for one of Goodison Parks favourite sons yesterday as thousands of Evertonians came out in force for the funeral of Andy King at St Luke’s Church.
He came into St Luke’s Church to Z-Cars and left to Elvis Presleys the Ghetto.
Inside guests including Howard Kendall and Peter Reid, who were playing tribute to a fantastic team mate, midfielder and goalscorer, while outside hundreds of Evertonians lined the streets near Goodison Park to show their respect.
King made 191 appearances for the club over 2 separate spells scoring 49 goals.
