No Everton bid for Thomas Ince….yet
Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has confirmed to SkySports that no clubs have yet bid for star winger Thomas Ince.
Ince who’s dad Paul was sacked by Blackpool yesterday has been linked with moves to Everton, Crystal Palace, AS Monaco and Swansea City.
Ince is out of contract in the summer and Blackpool are thought to prefer to do a deal for the player now, rather than risk losing him for less money at a transfer tribunal, although if he moves to France he could leave for as little as £155k.
Roberto Martinez is believed to be a fan of Ince and was rumoured to have met him last week, but Chairman Oyston has confirmed that they have been no formal bids yet and isn’t sure if any will surface come the end of January.
He said: “There are three options, all of which we are okay with,”
“We were very open and up front with Tom about that, and vice-versa I have to say.
“That is a decision for other clubs. If anyone wants to take any of our players, then they will be in touch, but we have had no formal contact yet.”
