    Naismith set to leave Everton in £8m move

    Scotland international and all round nice guy Steven Naismith is set to leave Everton to join Norwich City in the January transfer window in an £8m move according to the Guardian.

    The 29 year old Scotland international has proved a good player for the blues, flourishing when Roberto Martinez moved him upfront, but chances recently have been limited and Naismith is keen on first team football.

    A move to Norwich failed to materialise in the summer with the player fighting to get a starting spot, but he now looks set to move on.

    The former Rangers man suffered a couple of cruciate injuries before joining Everton and was used on the wing by former manager David Moyes, but became a bit of a cult hero when he moved more central.
