Moyes singing John Stones praises
Former Everton manager David Moyes has been singing the praises of John Stones to Sky Sports News this week and says the talent he has is uncoachable.
The Real Sociedad manager says that the ability he has on the ball is Rio Ferdinandesque and says that he has gone on to become a terrific player.
“We signed him from Barnsley for £1.25m, we had a fantastic recruitment team and they’d seen him play right back, centre halve, even in midfield.
“He was always going to need time to develop his strength, size, but he’s one of these players with a natural poise on the ball. Nearly uncoached, not something you can really coach.”
“He’s got the ability to be on the ball, incredibly comfortable, similar to what Rio [Ferdinand] had.
“He’s gone on to turn into a terrific player, which we’d always hoped.”
Will John Stones leave Everton this summer?
