Midfielder set for transfer talks as Everton exit looks likely

Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen could be set to leave the club as Napoli come back in for the Dutch international according to CalcioMercato.

Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri is all set to sign a contract extension this week and has put long term target Klaassen on his transfer wishlist along with Andre Gomes according to reports.

Klaassen has failed to forge a regular first team place at Everton and has often failed to make the matchday squad this season under 3 different managers.

Klaassen may see a new opportunity at the club though following the sacking of Everton manager Sam Allardyce and a complete change at boardroom level.
