    Martinez: Mori looked at home with the pace and intensity

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez admits he was pleased with Ramiro Runes Mori’s first taste of English action and says that the South American looked at home with the pace and intensity of the game.

    Mori was introduced with around 15 minutes to go as the blues looked to see off the game and impressed Everton fans with the short cameo appearance.

    “It was really important to see Ramiro have a good introduction.

    “It is not easy coming into the British game and he looked at home with the pace and intensity.”

    “We are starting to show the strength of the squad because, with the numbers we have now, players are able to come in and perform as a part of the team and that helps you to be consistent over the course of the season.”
