    Martinez: It will be a close game against Manchester City

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez feels that Sundays game against Manchester City will be a close encounter and says that everytime they face City it is a tight affair.

    Manchester City are the form team in the division at the moment, but come up against an Everton side who are so far unbeaten and the Catalan feels that they will give them at game at Goodison.

    “It is not a big secret that Manchester City are the team in form,” he said.

    “The way they have started the campaign is impressive and I don’t think they have had to go into second gear yet. They have been improved by the new signings and we have seen the best of a team that have been together for a long time now.

    “But we are looking forward to it. Every time we have been facing Manchester City they have been close games, games that have seen a lot of character and good play. I don’t think it will be anything different on Sunday.”
