Lukaku: I’m a good player but that I want to develop

The redtops have been playing mischief again stating that Romelu Lukaku already wants to leave the club and rejoin Chelsea.  What the player was actually stating was that he wants to improve his game and then join a club in the Champions League when he has improved.

Lukaku was quotes in the S*n as saying “It was brilliant to play at Chelsea and I had a good reception,”

“They know I’m a good player but that I want to develop so I can eventually get back to playing for a club like Chelsea.

“I don’t have a secret ambition to rejoin — there are other clubs in the world. I just want to grow as a player and eventually arrive at a top club again.”

 

Now that to me sounds like ambition, rather than a player angling for a move.
