    Konsa deal in doubt over price concern

    Everton and Liverpool are both baulking over the price of Charlton Athletic defender Ezri Konsa’s £5m asking price leaving in doubt a transfer deal according to the Daily Mail.

    The highly rated 20 year old centre back is being linked with both clubs as they looked set to raid the club again but the asking price could see the youngster staying at the Valley.

    Konsa is one of the top earners at Charlton and is under contract until 2020 and boss Karl Robinson has hoped to cash in on the defender to give him some much needed transfer funds.

    Charlton are on the verge of a takeover and any funds he wants to spend on transfers must be self generated.
