John Stones named Evertons Young Player of the Year at awards
Everton defender John Stones has been named the clubs young player of the year at the annual Everton end of season do at St Georges Hall.
Stones added to his supporters player of the year award the day before which has capped a memorable couple of days for the youngster.
Stones has just been named in the England Under 21’s European Championship side before winning the 2 awards.
“It’s been a great few days, winning the supporters’ club award last night and now this,” Stones told evertontv.
“Knowing the fans have voted for me means so much. With the win at West Ham, it’s been a fantastic.
“It’s great that I’ve been recognised and I’m now already looking ahead to hopefully doing even better next season.”
