There are unconfirmed rumours that recent stand-in Everton Captain Phil Jagielka could miss out in the game at the Stadium of Light today.

There is a picture circulating of the gash that the England International suffered against Reading being re-opened against Arsenal.

Of course these reports are only at the rumours stage but in recent weeks these rumours have appeared to be correct, such as Leon Osman being out, Barkley starting and the 3-5-2 formation being deployed against Stoke.
