Everton have been told that long term target Andriy Yarmolenko will not be sold in the January transfer window according to the Daily Mirror.

Everton were close to signing the Ukrainian in the summer but Ukrainian clubs are notoriously difficult to deal with and no agreement was reached.

Yarmolenko has been Roberto Martinez top transfer target for a while now and could have been brought in to replace Steven Naismith who was sold to Norwich City last week for £8.5m.

According to the report Dynamo Kiev chairman Ihor Surkis is adamant he will not be sold this winter.

  1. For christ sake just pay the money Everton, world class player wants to play for us we should pay whatever he costs and stop squibbling about a few million… the new tv deal should make £5m seem like nothing we should get on with it before it turns into another Muller deal
