Everton with definite interest in Marseille defender
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has identified Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou as a potential signing should Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz leave Goodison Park according to Simon Jones in the Daily Mail.
The 25 year old centre-back has impressed for the French club since signing in 2011 from AS Monaco and was part of the successful Coupe de la Ligue in 2012.
N’Koulou has also been attracting interest from Arsenal, Napoli and Newcastle United but Martinez went to watch the defender in action against Monaco.
The player has 51 appearances for his country and has played 22 times in Ligue 1 this season scoring 2 goals.
