    Everton watching Italian La Liga defender

    Everton have been watching Real Betis right-back Cristiano Piccini according to reports in Italy and Spain and Tuttomercatoweb.

    The 23 year old former Italy under 21 international is also wanted by former club Fiorentina and FC Porto.  Fiorentina sold the full-back to Real Betis in the summer, but have an option to buy-back the player within 18 months if they want to take up the option.

    Piccini only made one appearance for the Italian club and left to try and get first team games and has so far made 12 appearances this season
