Everton in three club Shaqiri transfer race

Everton are in the race for brilliant Swiss player Xherdan Shaqiri according to Gazetta Sport football expert Tancredi Palmeri on twitter.

Unfortunately for Everton fans he went on to say that we are last in the race, but you have to be in it to win it.

Shaqiri is one of Swiss footballs brightest talents of recent years and shone at last summers Brazil World Cup.  23 year old Shaqiri currently plays for Bayern Munich playing 9 times this season, scoring once with 2 assists.

Shaqiri is on the fringes of the Munich team, mainly being played as a substitute and is on the wanted list of Merseyside rivals Liverpool and serie A power house Inter Milan.

  1. Shaqiri is another Mirallas….blows hot and cold and disappears out of matches too frequently. Mercurial is a term often applied…as it is to the likes of Balotelli…we dont need him. We need Stonesy back fit and another ball-playing centre half. Yannick Bolasie from Palace would be a good addition if we could grab him for sensible money.
