Everton targeting loan striker in France

Everton are casting their net towards Tunisian striker Saber Khelifa who plays for Marseille according to the Daily Mail.

The 27 year old striker has played 20 times for Marseille in Ligue 1 this season and only scored once, from them 20 games 18 have been as a sub though.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is looking for cover for Romelu Lukaku who has been ruled out for up to a month with an ankle injury sustained in the Merseyside Derby.  Lukaku has scored 9 goals in 20 games for the toffees this season and his injury is a big loss with his team looking to qualify for Europe.

The season before last Khelifa was at Evian, where he scored 16 goals in 29 games which helped secure his move to Marseille in the summer.
