    Everton targeting Ameobi

    Everton are being linked to a summer move for Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi, who is available on a free transfer according to The Telegraph.

    The 22 year old has been with the Geordies for 7 years and doesn’t look likely to sign a new contract.  He is also being linked with moves to West Bromwich Albion and Real Sociedad, who are managed by former Everton manager David Moyes.

    Ameobi is the younger brother of former Newcastle United striker Shola and has played 24 times for the magpies this season and scored 2 goals.
