    Everton target Spanish stopper

    Everton manager Ronald Koeman is looking at Diego Alves as a potential new number one for Everton according to Spanish newspaper Deportivo Valenciano.

    The 31 year old Brazilian goalkeeper plays for Koemans former club Valencia and looks destined to leave the club.

    Everton have already signed former Fulham goalkeeper Marten Stekelenburg as a number 2 and could be set to offload Spanish keeper Joel Robles as they look to sign a number 1.

    Alves has recently been away playing in the Copa America.
