    Everton running the rule over Spain winger

    Everton are looking at potential replacements for Kevin Mirallas should the Belgian winger leave the club and Diego Capel of Sporting Lisbon is a possibility according to the Liverpool Echo.

    The future of the Belgian is uncertain and Roberto Martinez has asked chief scout Kevin Reeves to scour the continent to find potential replacements just incase he is sold.

    27 year old Capel is entering the final year of his contract and could be available for as little as £2m.  Capel has been capped twice by Spain back in 2008.

    The Spanish winger has performed well in Portugal and has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past.
