Everton rebuffed in Valencia midfielder hunt

Everton will be rebuffed on any attempts by Roberto Martinez to sign Valencia midfielder Carles Gil according to Talksport.

The young Spaniard who represents his country and under 21 level has enjoyed a brilliant season on-loan at Elche, but is yet to make a first team appearance for Valencia.

There has been speculation linking the youngster with a move to Goodison Park for the last 6 months, but the Everton manager looks to face a tough task as Valencia look to bring him into the first team squad.
