Everton to re-sign £4m former player amid Crystal Palace interest
Everton are looking to re-sign former goalkeeper John Ruddy in a sensational swoop on Norwich City according to the Daily Mirror.
Crystal Palace are also interested in the England stopper who moved to Carrow Road from Goodison Park in 2010.
The former Cambridge keeper has proved a very astute signing for the Canaries following his stint as Tim Howards number 2 and forced his way into the England squad before Norwich’s relegation to the Championship.
He has two and a half years left on his contract and the report says that the club are likely to let him leave for less than £4m. Everton are looking for a long term replacement for United States of America stopper Tim Howard, as the goalie is likely to move back to America at the end of his current contract.
