Everton to push through Keane transfer in next few days

Everton will push through the signing of Burnley defender Michael Keane before the players report back for pre-season training according to Paul Joyce in the Times.

The transfer for the England defender has been a long running one, with Everton manager Ronald Koeman commenting on the player towards the end of the January transfer window.

The 24 year old former Manchester United defender will cost the blues £25m and will be part of an ambitious spending spree by the club as they look to mount an attack on the top 4.

Everton have already signed Davy Klaassen, Jordan Pickford, Nathangelo Markelo and Henry Onyekuru.  They are also on the verge of announcing Sandro Ramirez from Malaga.

Will Keane be a good signing for the club?
