    Everton prospect set for spell on-loan at Leeds United

    Young Everton centreback Matthew Pennington is set to go out on loan to managerless championship club Leeds United on transfer deadline day today according to the Daily Mail.

    The 19 year old defender who spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers last season is set to join the Yorkshire club to help build his experience at a higher level.

    Pennington is one of a number of Everton youngsters to go out on-loan to other clubs and follows Hallam Hopes loan spell to fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield Wednesday last week.  Pennington is predominantly a centre-back but can also play on the right.
