Everton offered €25m for Spurs winger?
Everton offered £18m to Spurs for their playmaker Erik Lamela according to a report in French sports website Le10 Sport and Italian outlet Mercato.
Lamela was close to joining Olympic Marseille on loan, but reports in France have claimed that Everton offered €25m for the winger.
In what would be a strange move for Everton, the story does seem unlikely as Lamela has largely failed during his time in England following his move from Serie A.
Everton have been in the market for a number 10 all summer and have so far failed.
Do you believe Everton made a move for Lamela?

Warning: Lamela is part of a complex third-party ownership deal. Spurs only own his body, and were unable to obtain his brain.
How are you getting on with Lennon? I hope you get him. I have been trying to find out for ages what he has done to merit such treatment from MoPo but nobody seems to know? Slaggybayor I can understand. Aaron is our longest serving player and in the absence of someone telling me what he has done, I take the view that he has been treated VERY shabbily by us.
Delighted to see that you signed Lennon. I wish him well.
