    Everton offer Austrian midfielder contract

    Everton have offered Austrian midfielder Veli Kavlak a contract worth €2m per season until 2019 according to Turkish Newspaper Milliyet.

    The Turkish born midfielder has been putting in some excellent displays for Besiktas and although they have been in discussions with the tough tackling midfielder, they are unable to offer more than $1.5m per year.

    The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has seven goals and 14 assists in 122 appearances for the Black Eagles.
