Everton move ahead of Schalke for Chelsea defender

Everton have moved ahead of German side Schalke in the chase for left-back Baba Rahman according to Ghanasoccernet website.

Everton have been linked to the defender who spent last season on loan at Schalke for a while, but a long term knee injury sustained midway through his year long loan looked to put paid to any move.

His agent has been speaking and been hinting to reporters that Everton have moved ahead of the Germans in the last 48 hours.

“Baba is not in any emergency situation. Schalke is a topic, but he still has a four-year contract with Chelsea.”
