    Everton make Rodriguez enquiry

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been in contact with Real Madrid over the possibility of the loan signing of Jese Rodriquez according to Spanish sports website Fichajez.net.

    The forward who can also play on the wing has scored 5 times in 21 games for the Madrid team before suffering from an ACL injury to his right knee before returning to fitness in December.

    The report has likened his abilities to former loanee Gerard Deulofeu and says that representatives from Real Madrid are looking into the proposal.

    The report says that Everton want the forward for the remainder of this season and the whole of next season, although Madrid will possibly need the player as cover for Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
