Everton make Adam Lallana a priority signing for the summer

It has today been reported by several media outlets that Everton will make Southampton captain Adam Lallana a priority signing in the summer.

The England international has been been tearing up the Premier League this season with 9 goals and 6 assists to his name. This has lead to him being called up to the England squad, to then impressing the Lions’ followers into demanding a start for the 25 year-old.

It is thought that the Blues are after a player that can play anywhere across the attacking 3 and Martinez has identified Lallana as one of the best players in this position. It is reported that a bid of around £15 million will be able to get the boyhood Evertonian.

Much will depend on where Everton finish in the Premier League. If the dreams of Champions League become reality, Chairman Bill Kenwright will have enough funds to go further should the new Southampton Chairman refuse initially. This has been an April Fool.
