Everton make £7m offer for talented number 10

Everton have made a £7m proposal to Barcelona for the permanent transfer of young Croatian playmaker Alen Halilovic but Celta Vigo remain in pole position to land the youngster according to Deportivo Mundo.

West Ham United are also chasing the player who Barca will transfer to another club and the Catalans feel that Spain may offer the best progression for the player.

Barca would be keen to loan Halilovic or operate a buy-back clause similar to the Gerard Deulofeu deal and feel that Celta have taken care of previous Barca recruits.

The article states that they would use Halilovic to tempt Celta into selling them Nolito.
