Everton looking to sign Marco Soprano

Everton are tracking 17-year-old Genoa defender Marco Soprano, according to respected transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzo

Roberto Martinez is looking to the future and to build a young talented defensive back line with Dutch defender Johnny Heitinga poised to leave the club with Roma lurking.

Soprano could be brought in and to gain experience the young defender could be sent out on loan.  Soprano is receiving big praise by the Italian press and is seen as one the brightest prospects to come out of Genoa.

Various Italian websites have described Soprano as a classic Italian defender who is natural in the role.  He is described as a great reader of the game and can easily close out attackers.  His mentality and football intelligence is above his age group

This could be an exciting move for Everton to fill an important role in the future.
