Everton look towards centre-back replacement

Everton are interested in signing Hull City captain and key centre back Curtis Davies according to the Daily Mirror.

The 29 year old Englishman has made 14 appearances for the Yorkshire club this season in the Premier League and scooped up at their player of the season awards last year, but is out of contract next  summer and may look towards a pay rise with a larger club.

According to the report the former Birmingham City player is exploring his options although it is thought that Everton manager Roberto Martinez isn’t in the hunt for a central defender and is wanting to focus on the left side of midfield.
