    Everton linked to Serie A defender Thomas Heutaux

    Everton are being linked with a move for Serie A defender Thomas Heurtaux who plays for Udinese by Sports Direct News

    The 6ft French defender moved to the Stadio Fruli from Caen in 2012 for a fee of around €2m.  The 25 year old has played for France at under 19 and 20 level, but has yet to feature for the full national side.

    In the past Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion have been linked to the player and according to the report Roberto Martinez is interested in the player as a replacement for Johnny Heitinga who will leave the club this window.

    It is believed that Heitinga will leave the club in the last week of the window and despite interest from the UK it is believed that he will look to reignite his career abroad.
