Everton linked to Sean Maloney

Everton are being linked with a move for Wigan Athletic attacker Sean Maloney according to FootballLeagueWorld.co.uk.

The Scotland international played under Everton manager Roberto Martinez and only has one year left on his contract.  The article is very suspect though and provides no links to the player but says Everton COULD be interested.

Maloney spent much of last season injured and only made 17 appearances  scoring 4 goals, but has played 12 goals in 59 appearances since Martinez signed him in 2011 for Wigan.

Maloney has also played for Celtic and Aston Villa over his career and has played 32 times for his national side scoring 2 goals.
