    Everton linked to former Liverpool striker

    Everton are being linked with a move for former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke with a new report out from the Daily Mail.

    The report says that no contact has been made for the 26 year old yet, but that the Everton hierarchy are discussing it and he is an option.

    Olivier Giroud is still the blues top target according to the report but Benteke is someone of interest if they can’t do a deal for Arsenal man.

    Benteke only joined Crystal Palace last year in a £27m move and is in the process of looking for a new home down south.
