    Everton last ditch attempt to sign Bernard?

    Everton are making a last ditch attempt to sign Bernard on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk according to Talksport on their Drivetime show.

    Having so far failed to bring in a number 10 that Roberto Martinez said they badly needed Everton have so far only brought in long running transfer target Ramiro Funes Mori and are close to signing Aaron Lennon for £4.5m.

    This has left Everton short in a key position and Talksport believe that we are in last ditch talks to sign the player on loan.

    It looks highly unlikely.
