    Everton in talks to sign River Plate defender

    Everton are in talks with Argentinian club River Plate over the signing of defender Jose Ramiro Funes Mori according to many of the British press including the Daily Mail.

    Mori has been capped once by Argentina and had impressed for River Plate over the final 6 months of last season and that has lead to Everton making his move.

    The 24 year old centre-back has played 72 times for River Plate since signing from FC Dallas and scored 6 goals.

    He is a left-sided defender who stands at 1.86m.
