    Everton in new goalkeeper link

    Everton are being linked with a new goalkeeper, this time Deportivo De La Coruna stopper Fabricio Acosto who is being touted as a target by HITC.

    The 27 year old 5ft 11 in goalie is waiting on a new contract offer from the Spaniards, but is tempted with a move to the Premier League via Aston Villa or Everton.

    Both Premier League teams have made enquiries through third parties according to the report and the stopper has a release clause of €6m – although bids haven’t been made yet.

    Acosto impressed last season and he was voted the clubs player of the year by fans.
