    Everton in fresh link for Quality £10m defender

    Everton are being linked in the newspapers once again for Celtics brilliant young Dutch centre-back Virgil Van Dijk.

    Simon Jones is running the story in the Daily Mail for the defender who was linked with Everton in the winter and before he joined Celtic.

    Southampton are also being linked with a move for the 23 year old as they look for possible replacements for Toby Alderweireld.

    Van Dijk is likely to cost north of £10m following a number of fantastic seasons in Scotland and the Celtic fans would be loathed to see him leave.

    Van Dijk has played 50 games in all competitions and scored 8 goals in the process.
