Everton eying Celtic striker Georgios Samaras
Everton will make a January transfer window move for Celtic striker Georgios Samaras according to Ladbrokes News.
The former Manchester City striker is out of contract in the summer and is yet to put pen to paper and Ladbrokes believe that Everton manager Roberto Martinez will make a move for the leggy Greek.
Samaras has scored 4 times in 11 appearances this season and is also being watched by Atletico Madrid and Trabsponsor.
Everton are trying to add strike options to their squad after Nikica Jelavic signed for Hull City and with Arouna Kone out for the season the Spanish boss needs to add reinforcements.
Martinez says he has a long list of strikers on his transfer list, but will look to bring in the right personality and is willing to wait if he is unavailable in January.

He’d be a good signing for Everton. But the fans would need patience of a saint. I’ve never known player to be so hot and cold.
He’s a big game player and could do a job in England. Though, I think he’d be better suited on the continent.

I remember we went in for him a few years back and he opted for City. We dodged a bullet there as he was absolutely shite for the Manc’s.I’m glad we missed out on him then and I don’t want him now. First it was Jones and now Samaras,we can do better than these two jokers. I’d rather have Jelavic than these pair of yard dogs.

Wouldn’t touch him with a bargepole! Failed badly in a poor Man City side in 2006/2007 and City didn’t waste time in getting rid. Plays well once in a while but looks generally lazy.
