    Everton defender John Stones going to Barcelona……

    …..but only to watch them play after winning an Everton training ground competition which pitted him against his team mates.

    According to the Daily Mail, Everton manager Roberto Martinez offered the reward if the players went head to head in training and accumulated points over the course of the season.

    Gareth Barry was actually crowned overall winner of the competition and rewarded with an inscribed watch, beating the likes of Ross Barkley, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas.

    Stones will travel to the Nou Camp to watch the likes of Lionel Messi, Andreas Iniesta and Brazil star Neymar Junior and will strengthen the already close ties of the clubs.
