Everton considering move for Blackpool star Tom Ince

Everton are interested in a transfer for Tom Ince, but will have to raise the funds first.

Blackpool star Ince recently turned down a move to Cardiff as he had just become a father and didn’t want to uproot his young family, but a move to Everton appeals as many of his family live in the area.

The clubs recently agreed an £8million fee for England Under-21 winger Ince, who had reportedly also agreed personal terms and this week met Cardiff manager Malky Mackay and visited the Welsh side’s training ground.

Ince, who progressed through Liverpool’s academy, made only one senior appearance at Anfield before departing for Blackpool in August 2011 when a compensation fee was agreed between the two clubs.

He has made a total of 88 appearances for the Seasiders, who appointed father Paul as Michael Appleton’s permanent replacement in February this year.

Everton are very interested but will need to shift Johnny Heitinga off the wage bill before committing a deal for the young England under 21 star and are also looking at Championship interest for young French winger Magaye Gueye.

    1. Not sure as haven’t seen him much. But would be great for an ex-red to turn into a huge star for the blues! See how they like it for a change!!!!

    2. I think it would be a good move, he seems to be the king pin of all Blackpools games and have only heard good things about him!

    3. Great signing for you if you pull it off.

He’s got blistering pace and has all the tricks on the wing. We’ve seen him turn full-backs inside out for 2 seasons now. AND he can finish.

    4. I have a Blackpool season ticket but i also support Everton. In all honesty, I think Ince should stay, i don’t think he’d get played as much.
