    Everton bid for former Manchester United winger

    Everton have submitted a bid for former Manchester United winger Nani according to Turkish Newspaper Yeni Safak.

    The paper claims that Everton have put together a €5m bid for the winger who scored 12 and provided 13 assists in an impressive season last year.

    Nani has an €8.5m release clause, but Everton and Manchester United would be reluctant to go that high as the latter sold the player last year for less than that valuation.

    The 29 year old is the only player to have scored for Portugal at Euro 2016 so far.
