Everton bid €7m for Keisuke Honda

Everton have bid €7m for CSKA midfielder Keisuke Honda to try and fend off advances from AC Milan according to Italian outlet MilanNews.it

The Italians were keen to land Honda in January when the Japan midfielders contract in Russia comes to an end, but its understood that new Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to land the player.

Honda has scored 15 goals in 45 caps for Japan and was part of the squad that took part in the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

  1. Would love this transfer to happen. Really hope we can as Fellaini looks to be leaving. This would be a good footballing move and make brilliant marketing sense. Really is a no brainer if we can land him.

We would then be able to use the remaining cash to bring in another couple of players. Would be nice to get it done and spark a bit of positive news around the place.
