Everton back in for Manchester United man?

Everton have renewed their interest in Manchester United midfielder Anderson and hope to bring him to Goodison Park in January according to Sports Direct News

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has long been an admirer of the Brazilian but failed with an attempt to sign him during the summer transfer window despite losing Marouane Fellaini to United for £27.5 million on deadline day.

Although there had been talk that Anderson would form part of that deal that brought Belgian Fellaini to Old Trafford but it never happened and now Martinez is ready to start negotiations with United again.

A source at Everton said: “Anderson was on our radar over the summer and that was well-documented. The boss is now putting together his wish list for January and Anderson is well up it.

“We are in the process of building a young team but Anderson would provide the requisite experience for the likes of Ross Barkley.”

Fellaini is expected to make his first start this evening against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League at the expense of Anderson.
