Everton back in for defender they were fined for an illegal enquiry for
Everton have sensationally enquired about Nottingham Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles, the player who they were fined £45,000 for last week for an unauthorised approach, according to the Daily Mail
Everton accepted their fine from the FA and according to the report Everton manager Roberto Martinez has now come in for the 20 year old through an official channel.
Arsenal are also interested in the England youngster and are thought to be willing to pay £3m to land the player. Lascelles has been offered a new contract by Nottingham Forest in an attempt to keep hold of the player who has also spent time on loan at Stevenage, who Everton beat in the FA Cup last week.
If Everton were to sign Lascelles it would be a remarkable turn in events following the FA ruling.
